That was the moment our video editor slammed his head onto the table. The culprit? An old, laggy computer. The editing software had suddenly crashed, and since saving took forever, he planned to save the project only at the final stage. This frustrating incident made us decide to replace the “Laggy” with something more powerful, the “Beasty.”
Researching components was a challenge since the parts we wanted were not readily available. We decided to assemble the computer with whatever we could find. Luckily, our CEO suggested visiting Oceans Computer, an authorized MSI retailer. That same day, we went to their office at Baghdurbar Sundhara, JDA Complex. Unfortunately, the previous night’s heavy rain had flooded the complex’s underground.
With no electricity and a submerged backup generator, assembling the computer was impossible. Disappointed, we left without our “Beasty.” The next day, Mr. Bipin, CEO of Variyo Digital, contacted Mr. Suresh Kayastha, MD of Raystronics, a sister company of Oceans Computer. We had the pleasure of meeting him that day, finalizing the components and the price.
Although it was late by the time we arrived at the store after office hours, the assembly began. It took a while, but our videographer managed to capture footage of the process.
