PAPON Live in Nepal: A Night to Remember

The Nepali music scene experienced something spectacular on May 5, 2023. PAPON, the famed Indian singer, songwriter, and record producer, performed live for the first time in Nepal at Privé Nepal, which was sponsored by Kala Patthar, SKYY VODKA, Absolut, Chivas, and Jacobs Creek and presented by Budweiser Nepal. Khalti, the ticketing partner, and The Soaltee Kathmandu, the hospitality partner, did an excellent job of providing a seamless and memorable event. Variyo Digital and the Liquid-Intelligence team handled branding and digital promotion, while Liquid-Intelligence (Organizer) planned the show.

The arena was crowded with nearly 2000 supporters anxiously awaiting PAPON’s performance. All tickets were sold out, and the anticipation was intense. Dyanamix Nepal opened the show, followed by Jhuma Limbu X Raithane and SANUP PAUDEL. RONEESHA SHRESTHA served as the evening’s emcee, keeping the crowd engaged in between acts.

The audience was ecstatic to see PAPON, and their excitement rose throughout the evening. Although they were antsy at times, waiting for PAPON to enter the stage, they liked the other artists’ performances. The audience was polite and enjoyed the music with their friends and family.

Finally, the moment everyone had been anticipating arrived. PAPON onto the stage to great ovation and began his performance with one of his hit songs. The audience erupted when he sang their favorite tunes, and they thoroughly loved PAPON’s live performance. He also sang the Nepali songs “Ratorani fule Jhai Saajhama” and “Gai charu,” which were well received by the crowd.

PAPON ended the show with the cover song “Aaj Jane ki Jidd nakaro,” followed by “Jiye Kiun,” which left the crowd wanting more. The evening was genuinely amazing, and PAPON’s performance was well worth the wait. The entire event was a big success, and all thanks goes to the organizers, sponsors, and partners who worked tirelessly to make it a reality. It was an experience that those who were lucky enough to see it will never forget.
